I picked up my first tattoo machine in 2019, just as I was finishing my studies. Despite loving biology, I wanted to try something else. I started tattooing friends, family and myself, and little by little, with a lot of effort and many hours of drawing, I found my style and perfected my technique. Although I still have a lot to learn, I would define my style as delicate and elegant, but not necessarily minimalist!
Botanical art
Maybe it's the way I've combined my studies in biology with tattooing. I love to depict nature, especially plants and flowers. What I enjoy most are compositions of various species in large tattoos.
Fine line
Although it was a challenge at the beginning, I feel comfortable with very fine needles. I use 3RL 0.20 line, both for minimalist tattoos and for larger compositions and designs.
Micro-illustration
I think there is something very special about trying to capture authentic portraits or images of tiny sizes. Using very fine needles to get to every little detail, recreate and take my time on every line and every subtle shadow.
Colour illustration
Colour is still my great love at tattooing. Using it on flowers makes me especially happy.
